My mediacom cable bill is due on the 14 of every month and I get paid on the 1 and 15 of every month and I figured I can spread it out by paying my cable bill the 15 instead since all my bills are due around the first. I was wondering if mediacom will charge me being a day late if I do this, I can’t trust what they say because they have lied to me in the past and they are the only cable company around so I am stuck with them. I figured if anyone has delt with them and paid a day late if they charged you for it. They are the type of people who say one thing and do another?

Last time I saw the cable guy in my area, he offered to hook up my box for free if I paid him .00 dollars. I borrowed the dollars and now I have access to all channels, even HBO, Cinemax, and Encore and I don’t get a monthly cable bill. Can I get in trouble for this ? It wa the cable guy who offered it to me. He works for the cable company.

My cable company rejected my online check (that I’ve been paying since March), and a representative explained that I might have typed in the wrong number, so I put in a request to verify the numbers that I typed. The representative told me to call within seven days to check the status of my request, and well…it has now been six days and they not even began to process my request. Meanwhile, I’m supposed to pay the 0 balance when I’m not even sure it is my mistake.

What should I do? Should I go to a payment center and talk to someone in person? All I want are the numbers…that’s it!

Right now, I have a cable bill balance of 156.76. On the RCN website(my cable company), it has it listed as

APRIL 25 156.76

Now is this bill for APRIL 25-MAY 25, or is it for MARCH 25-APRIL 25? This is the most recent bill listed..

I shouldn’t have to choose between having digital cable and an Iphone. This is America and I deserve both. Besides, Comcast suckered me into getting the most expensive cable package. They gave a teaser rate for 6 months, then the price went up! That’s not right. My issue with the cable company is no different than the issue with the shifty banks that screwed over people by giving them adjustable rate mortgages. If they get bailouts to keep them in their homes, why can’t I get a bailout to keep my cable on? Doesn’t Uncle Barack feel my pain?
