but yet the next month bill is double again. Does anybody know why? do any one have a better solution. I have their bundle package. I cant enjoy life because i’m giving the cable company all my money.

When I moved in, I found that the cable TV network is still operational, so I hook up my television and makes use of the cable connections. I continued to use the cable feed for 15 months, at which point someone from the cable company rings my doorbell, and asks about my cable service. I said I have cable but didn’t order it. The cable representative leaves and I later receives a bill for 0 for 15 months of cable service, including premium channels. Do I have to pay? Why or why not? Was there a contract here?

I am trying to cut down my outrageous cable bill and I have 2 HD sets, but I care to only have HD line one one and a basic line or not at all just so I can get the local channels. My cable company is telling me I would have to have a line on those tvs for me to get picture but I thought HD tv have the D tv tuner already in them. Feel like I am being given the run around by the cable company. Any suggestions?

A buddy of mine owns a house and he asked me if I wanted to move in and be a roommate. He owes some money to the cable company and it’s shut off now. I wanna move in as it will be much cheaper than my apartment now, but I don’t want to be stuck without cable and internet. Can I put the cable/internet in my name and have it turned on to the same house? Or will he have to pay the bill first?
I know it’s not the right thing to do, but it’s not my bill either. Hopefully he’ll get it paid and we can avoid all any complications. If not, then I’ll wait until he gets it paid. Thanks in advance for any info.

Yeah, he will help pay the bill. There are other circumstances that are personal as to why he couldn’t pay. He doesn’t have many bills and he makes enough to cover them, it’s just that he couldn’t at the time.
I will certainly bring up going through DirectTV as I really like their services. I don’t know about AT&T for internet though. Can they compete with Cox? We both play many online games from WoW to PS3 and XBox 360. I want the fastest connection possible. If AT&T is close to Cox in that aspect, then I’ll certainly consider them.
