Cable Bill – How much is the cable bill in your area?

Cable Bill –

I have Comcast and I just paid a monthly bill for 0. I have two TVs and my PC hooked up to cable. I do not have any premium channels like HBO and stuff like that.
I am trying to see how I can cut down my bill.
I have my phone with Verizon. But I am a Verizon employee so I get a low rate on my phone at per month.
I am paying a combined total for phone, internet and cable of over 0 per month. How can I finagle some deal so that I am getting basic, phone, television, and internet access for a lower monthly rate?

Cable Bill – Do I have to pay for the cable bill which I didn't order it?

Saturday, February 19th, 2011

Cable Bill –

When I moved in, I found that the cable TV network is still operational, so I hook up my television and makes use of the cable connections. I continued to use the cable feed for 15 months, at which point someone from the cable company rings my doorbell, and asks about my cable service. I said I have cable but didn’t order it. The cable representative leaves and I later receives a bill for 0 for 15 months of cable service, including premium channels. Do I have to pay? Why or why not? Was there a contract here?

Verizon Fios vs. Cablevision IO?

Wednesday, April 7th, 2010

I currently have Cablevision and looking into Fios. I Googled Fios and keep seeing things about their bill. First bill is high and I have to keep referring to it just to make sure I’m being billed properly. I also saw something about the Verizon television box going out and having to reboot the thing several times per week. Any way, looking for some insight from current users. Thanks!
